Comment protéger les téléphones à écran incurvé?

How to protect curved screen phones?

Curved phones, where the screen bends around the edges of the phone, are becoming more common as they offer a larger display area and a sharper image.

However, they pose protection issues as the cases have difficulty attaching to curved parts. To protect your curved screen, get our Hydrogel Max film , designed exclusively for these types of phones.

Other than that, follow other typical smartphone protection rules to avoid damaging your screen.

With a case for a curved screen phone.

In the past, cases struggled to attach to curved phones because they couldn't grip the edges. Now new casings are being built to accommodate the curved display. Look for a case designed for curved screens and place it on your phone to avoid cracks and other damage.

  1. Try to find a case specifically designed for your phone model. This is the best way to ensure the case fits properly.
  2. If you're buying a case from a store, ask if you can try the case on to make sure it's right for you. If you're buying online, make sure you can return the case if it doesn't fit.

With tempered glass.

Tempered glass provides the best protection and shock absorption for your screen. As with the cases, older glass covers struggled to hug curved screens, but newer ones have improved. Find a new glass cover designed for curved screens to prevent scratches.

  1. Always check glass screen reviews before buying one to make sure it is compatible with a curved phone. If people have complained about tracking or sensitivity issues, get a different screen.
  2. The glass protectors work as shock absorbers for the screen. If you drop the phone, the case may break, but the screen will not be damaged.

With a Hydrogel Max film.

There are also hydrogel screen protectors that you can use as an alternative to tempered glass. These covers offer just as much protection, are much cheaper to buy, unbreakable and regenerate in 72 hours. Get one they are designed to fit curved screens perfectly and are the best protection.

  1. Look for a screen designed for your specific phone model to make sure it will fit properly.
  2. Install the screen protector so that there are no bubbles or gaps underneath.

If you install a screen protector incorrectly, the phone will not respond to your touches. Start by cleaning the screen with a microfiber cloth. Next, place the mounting tray on the phone, if your protector has one. This properly aligns the protector. Peel the clear tape from the protector, align it with the tray, and press the edges to adhere it to the phone.

    • Run your finger around the protector to remove air bubbles.
    • Different screen protectors may have different instructions. Read and follow all instructions provided with the product.

Prevent scratches and cracks

Prevent scratches and cracks

Put the phone in a pocket without keys or other hard objects.

These are the most common causes of scratches on phone screens. Always make sure that hard or sharp objects are in a different pocket from where you put your phone.

  1. Try using a specific pocket in your bag or jacket for your phone and nothing else inside. This way you know nothing will scratch the screen.
  2. Follow this rule even if you are using a screen cover. Scratches on the case can make the phone less responsive.

Leave the phone in a pocket you don't sit on.

Some people like to put their phone in their back pocket. However, sitting on your phone can bend or crack the screen. Leave your phone in a pocket you don't sit on to avoid accidental cracking.

  • Sometimes it's convenient to put the phone in your back pocket, like you're standing on a train. If you put your phone in your back pocket for a while, remember to take it out before you sit down.

Use a firm grip when holding the phone.

It seems obvious, but negligence is a big reason for accidentally dropping the phone. Whenever you take your phone out, use a sturdy grip to make sure you don't drop it. Look around for anything that could knock your phone out of your hands. When you put the phone away, make sure it is securely in your pocket or bag before you drop it.

  1. When buying a new phone, it's a good idea to check how it feels in your hand. If the phone is too big for you to grip well, try another model.
  2. There are attachments you can use to better grip your phone. A ring holder, for example, has a loop to put your finger through while you hold your phone. There are also rubber clips to prevent the phone from slipping out of your hand. Use one if you have trouble holding your phone.

Clean your screen

Screen cleaning

Remove dust and fingerprints with a microfiber cloth.

If dust or fingerprints accumulate on the screen or lid, get a microfiber cloth as you would for cleaning your glasses. Wipe the screen with a dry cloth until it is clear.

  1. You can also wipe your shirt screen if you are wearing a very thin cloth. Coarse materials will not clean well and may scratch the screen.
  2. Do not use paper-based products such as tissues or paper towels to wipe the screen. These can cause scratches and leave fibers.

Clean the screen with distilled water or cleaning solution.

If you have dirt stuck to the phone, distilled water will work fine in most cases. Dip a microfiber cloth in water and squeeze it just damp. Wipe the screen until all dirt is gone. If you want to disinfect the phone, get a cleaning solution designed for smartphone use. Dip the cloth in it and wipe down the phone.

  1. Do not use rubbing alcohol or cleaners containing alcohol to clean the screens. These chemicals can wear down the protective coating.
  2. If you want to sanitize your phone without using cleaners, there are UV light devices that kill bacteria. These are expensive, but could clean your phone without any risk of damage.

Remove lint from crevices with tape or a toothpick.

Over time, dust and lint can accumulate in the phone's speakers and other openings. For easy removal, press a strip of tape over the holes and peel it off. This should remove most of the debris. If there is any left, gently insert a toothpick to dig it up.

  • Do not use compressed air to get rid of dust or lint. The pressure can damage the delicate parts of the phone.
